Yeah, so, with the help of Kelly Turso (photographer), Charles Churchill (hair stylist) & Marni Simon (make-up), they transformed me into a awesomely-tacky-slightly-crazy-overly-exuberant- 1960’s- psychadelic-Barbie to celebrate the start of summer (all inspired by that amazing psychadelic one-piece. HOT!!!) In this “Rachel’s Guide to Summer“, enjoy my picks for summer… from favorite summer looks to margarita madness to great outdoor spots to dine & hang and of course, all things summer vintage. These are purely editorial picks - my take on summer in the city and living it up. Apothecary Bar + Lounge opened this Spring on 13th & Sansom in Midtown Village. It’s super quality, super contemporary & super stylish. JAMES will be hosting Buy Fresh/Buy Local HAPPY HOUR every Tuesday for the rest of the summer!!! Buy Fresh/Buy Local campaign supports local farmers by encouraging purchase and use of fresh local ingredients. JAMES is a huge advocate of this program, buying local every time and creating their menu around the freshest ingredients.
The kick off Buy Fresh/Buy Local happy hour is this Tuesday, July 17th. They will be rockin’ all of their local beers 1/2 price as well as their popular STRONGBERRY LEMONADE made from fresh local strawberries. At James, the drink menu is as good as the food menu!
